Welder/Fabricator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work on sheet metal aerospace parts and operate various tools and equipment. This role involves building and assembling metal structures, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the fabrication process.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on various metal components. Sometimes MIG welding will be required. Majority of components are require TIG welding.
• Utilize hand tools and machinery to assist in the fabrication process: Clamps, Calipers, Fixtures, etc.
• Build and assemble metal structures according to specifications and blueprints.
• Conduct pipe threading and ensure proper fitting of components.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Perform basic math calculations to ensure accuracy in measurements and material requirements.

Experience

• Proven experience in welding, particularly TIG welding, is required.
• Familiarity with sheet metal operations and safety practices is essential.
• Proficiency in using hand tools; clamps, calipers/veneers, fixtures, measuring tape.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations are necessary.
