Responsibilities

• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and welding tasks.
• Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <LOCATION> welding techniques to join metal components accurately.
• Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape sheet metal, ductwork, piping, and structural elements.
• Measure materials with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure proper fit and alignment according to specifications.
• Conduct rigging, pipe threading, machining, soldering, and assembly operations as required for project completion.
• Maintain compliance with ASME codes & standards during fabrication processes to ensure safety and quality.
• Operate forklifts and other machinery safely within construction or manufacturing sites while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

• Proven experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of construction safety procedures.
• Expertise in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, plasma cutting, and <LOCATION> welding techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, mechanical drawings, and schematics accurately.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, machining equipment, and fabrication machinery.
• Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication practices.
• Mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.61 per hour
