Welder/Fabricator

Job Summary

We’re looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing clean, accurate weldments, can read and interpret prints confidently, and enjoys building frames, fixtures, and custom fabrications from start to finish.

You’ll be working with steel and aluminum on a daily basis, using MIG and TIG processes. Experience with other materials is a bonus. Strong print‑reading skills and the ability to fit, square, and straighten weldments are highly valued. Weld certifications are a plus (steel highly preferred), and if selected for an interview, we will ask to see examples of your welds in person.

This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced, family‑owned shop with consistent hours and long‑term stability.

Schedule

  • 1st Shift:
  • Monday–Friday: 6:00am–4:30pm
  • Saturday: 6:00am–12:00pm(work dependent)
  • Paid 15‑minute break
  • 30‑minute lunch break

Duties

  • Weld steel and aluminum using MIG and TIG processes
  • Fabricate frames, brackets, and weldments from prints and job travelers
  • Read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and tolerances
  • Fit, square, and prep components prior to welding
  • Perform basic straightening of weldments (heat or mechanical methods)
  • Use grinders, saws, and basic fabrication tools as needed
  • Inspect welds for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Communicate with team members to keep jobs moving efficiently
  • Assist with general shop tasks when needed

Qualifications

  • Experience in welding steel and aluminum (MIG/TIG required)
  • Ability to read and understand fabrication prints and weld symbols
  • Experience welding frames and structural assemblies
  • Knowledge of weldment straightening techniques is a plus
  • Weld certifications are a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Ability to lift and move materials as needed
  • Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
