Welder/Fabricator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled lead in welding to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality structures and equipment, ensuring all projects meet safety standards and client specifications.

S&S Manufacturing/Trailers is a leading manufacturer of high-quality steel trailers. We take pride in building durable, professional-grade equipment, and we are looking for a dedicated craftsman to join our team!

Hours: M-Thursday 5am-3:30pm

Duties

• Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
• Measure materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools; perform basic math calculations for project specifications.

Qualifications

• Proven construction site experience or background in manufacturing environments involving metal fabrication.
• Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and machining tools.
• Knowledge of rigging, pipe threading, soldering, mechanical systems, and ductwork fabrication.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
• Ability to work safely on construction sites or manufacturing floors while following all safety standards.
