Welding Engineer
with strong technical expertise, customer focus, and a passion for innovation.
Tasks + Responsibilities

Provide technical application advice and support to customers, distributors, and dealers.

Commission welding/technical software and perform system integrations.

Carry out test welds, analyze results, and document findings on the company intranet.

Operate and program robot control units for welding applications.

Organize and deliver training sessions for sales teams, distributors, dealers, and end clients.

Adapt and prepare training materials as required.
-
Support the market introduction of new products, systems, and processes.
-
Assist with competition analysis and documentation.

Provide remote (e-mail and telephone) support for welding-related queries and troubleshooting.

Offer technical support for complex system configurations.
-
Contribute to product management activities, such as initiating modifications and further developments.

Assist with balancing capacity constraints within the national organization (e.g., holiday replacements, production start-ups, commissioning).

Execute mechanized welding using Fronius system controllers and standard components.

Support and participate in events such as trade fairs, technical seminars, and customer demonstrations
Requirements
Education & Professional Background
-
Bachelor Degree on engineering or technical qualification in a relevant field (e.g., welding engineering, pipeline construction, steel engineering, mechanical engineering, shipbuilding).

Training or experience in mechatronics is an advantage.

Previous professional experience in welding technology and automation.

Experience with sales/communication technology is a plus.
