Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding inspections according to project requirements and BV procedures.
- Review and validate WPS, PQR, and Welder Qualification Records (WQRs).
- Carry out visual inspections and coordinate NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT).
- Ensure welding processes comply with ASME, AWS, API, or EN standards.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, NCRs, and other QA/QC documentation.
- Liaise with clients and contractors to ensure quality expectations are met.
- Attend site visits, kick-off meetings, and technical discussions when required.
- Follow up on welding progress and report deviations or concerns.
- Perform material receiving inspections to verify compliance with specifications, certificates, and traceability requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma or BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Valid CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in welding inspection, preferably with third-party or inspection bodies.
- Strong understanding of international welding standards and codes (ASME, AWS, EN, API).
- Proficiency in technical reporting and use of Microsoft Office.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
