Summary

We are seeking a Weld Inspector to join our team at Compucraft Industries. In this role, be responsible for the duties associated with inspecting welds, approving welders, and monitoring their progress. Your experience in manufacturing, particularly aerospace welding (AWS D17.1) is crucial to your success.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all classes of welds per AWS D17.1.
• Create PQR & WPS for each process and part being welded.
• Ensure all welders are qualified and monitor their approvals.
• Review planning to ensure all customer weld requirements are met.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of Weld Inspection.
• Must be familiar with both TIG & MIG welding.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret aerospace drawings and symbols is a MUST.
• Mechanical knowledge is a must.
