Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Welfare Advisor to join our team!
In this role, you will get to serve as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert on employee welfare and wellbeing, guiding leadership and HR teams in creating a supportive, inclusive, and high-performing culture across Parsons’ regional operations. You will provide expert advice, policy direction, and insights that strengthen welfare governance and enhance employee experience across all levels of the organization.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on all matters related to employee welfare, wellbeing, and engagement.
Provide strategic recommendations to integrate welfare and wellbeing into business operations, talent strategy, and workforce planning.
Develop, review, and enhance welfare and wellbeing policies, frameworks, and programs in alignment with Parsons’ values, global standards, and local regulations.
Advise on complex welfare matters and ensure ethical, compliant, and effective resolutions.
Partner with HR, HSE, and project leaders to promote consistent welfare practices and standards across all project sites and offices.
Monitor and evaluate welfare and wellbeing trends through data, surveys, and analytics to provide actionable insights to leadership.
Lead initiatives that promote mental health awareness, inclusivity, and a culture of care across the workforce.
Representing Parsons in welfare-related discussions with clients, partners, and regulatory authorities where required.
Support crisis management and employee assistance programs, ensuring welfare continuity during mobilization or transition periods.
Prepare strategic reports and recommendations on welfare outcomes, employee sentiment, and emerging risks for leadership review.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in employee welfare, wellbeing, or HR advisory roles, including substantial experience in a senior consultative capacity.
Demonstrated success advising senior leadership and influencing welfare or wellbeing policy within large, complex, and multicultural organizations.
Strong understanding of GCC labor laws, welfare compliance standards, and international wellbeing frameworks (e.g., ISO 45003, WHO, CIPD).
Excellent communication, diplomacy, and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to handle sensitive issues with confidentiality and empathy.
Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into practical welfare and wellbeing initiatives.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
Prior experience within engineering, infrastructure, or large-scale program delivery environments.
Certification or training in mental health first aid, wellbeing strategy, or occupational health management.
High degree of emotional intelligence, cultural awareness, and adaptability in diverse work settings.
Strategic thinker with the ability to balance business goals and employee wellbeing priorities.
