We're Looking for a Part-Time Free-Hand Artist

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Create illustrations, graphics, and layouts for publications (newsletters, magazines, children’s books, member-created works).
• Design covers and artwork
• Develop visual content that supports campaigns, events, and community initiatives.
• Ensure submitted art, stories, or book projects are formatted professionally for print or digital use.
• Must be able to draw free-hand.
• Maintain digital and print files to easily access past works.

Pay: $25 per hour

Schedule: Part-time/temporary work. We will accommodate your schedule.

Location: In-person only, no remote option, in Anchorage 99501.

Requirements:

• High School or equivalent (preferred)
• Must be creative and able to work efficiently and fast.
• Must be able to work on site.
• Must be familiar with modern productivity and design software. (i.e., Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud)
• The applicant must be passionate about art and a self-starter.

Must: Provide examples of previous work.
