White Glove Installation Tech & Driver

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to follow all DOT regulations and safely drive a NON CDL 26' Straight Truck. This includes the following:
• Pre-check and post-check truck inspections
• To follow all posted speed limits and driving laws
• Ability to pass and Secure a DOT Medical Exam
• To safely navigate truck and not place vehicle in situations that will cause damage or cause the vehicle to become inoperable
• To complete final mile deliveries of household and commercial products to residential customers within a 150-mile radius of our base operations.
• To manage and assist a dedicated helper that will assist in providing excellent customer service and safely delivering merchandise to the end user.
• The driver will be responsible for communicating with customers and providing superior delivery experience for all of our clients
• Protecting and securing all loads to ensure no damage occurs in transit
• Ability to use provided equipment to protect and safely deliver merchandise without causing property damage
• To complete deliveries with varied service levels including the following: delivery to the door, threshold deliveries (through the door), room of choice deliveries, and full white glove deliveries with assembly
• Assist in loading and securing merchandise in trucks for daily deliveries
• To complete and assist with all deliveries
• Ability to lift 75 lbs
• To effectively communicate with management
• All other duties that are assigned

Required Work Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ commercial driving experience with references of equipment driven
• Customer service background
• Mechanical or technical background preferred
• Preferred background in furniture or home appliance delivery

Qualifications:

• Ability to pass a 50-state criminal background check
• Must pass a drug test and will be required to submit to random DOT drug testing and alcohol testing
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record with no moving violations
• 21 years of age or older
• Flexible and ability to adjust to situations that present themselves daily
• Mechanically inclined
• Technical requirements for updating route software and ensuring all delivery paperwork is filled out correctly

Pay:

• Average weekly pay $900

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $1,050.00 - $1,150.00 per week
