Wholesale Billing Analyst

This role has the overall responsibility for managing wholesale billing, settlement, financial and management reporting.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Representing the wholesale billing department at meetings scheduled with partners, vendors & internally.
• Month-end operations for invoicing and settlement of wholesale telecoms traffic.
• Setting up the new interconnect billing workstream, processes.
• Meeting the service level targets for billing, settlement, financial and management reporting.
• Revenue assurance process and operations.
• Raising WCC for invoices and tracking the payment towards partners.
• Supporting internal teams with data analysis to help them with decision making.

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:

• Technical knowledge in Telecom and preferably in wholesale billing function.
• Good negotiation skills
• Knowledge in Traffic and data analysis.
• Good analytical skills, ability to analyse financial and statistical data and present findings

Key performance indicators:

• Adequate and informatics reports to guide decision making
• Ensuring timely billing closure and reconciliations

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• University degree
