Role Overview

We are seeking a Wi-Fi Engineer with strong expertise in Wi-Fi protocols, Android/Linux networking, and programming (C/C++/Java) to develop and optimize Wi-Fi features for automotive infotainment systems. The ideal candidate should have experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry and be based in Chennai for immediate joining.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Wi-Fi components for Linux/Android-based infotainment systems.
• Work on Wi-Fi standards (802.11n, 802.11ac, 802.11ax) including Access Point, Station, and Wi-Fi Direct features.
• Integrate and test Wi-Fi security protocols (WPA2/WPA3).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust in-vehicle Wi-Fi features.
• Capture and analyze Wi-Fi sniffer logs and PCAP files for debugging and certification.
• Support Wi-Fi Alliance certification processes.

Mandatory Requirements (Must-Have Criteria)

• Immediate joiners based in Chennai only.
• Background in automotive or manufacturing industries.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++ and Java.
• Development experience in Wi-Fi standards: 802.11n, 802.11ac, 802.11ax.
• Hands-on experience in building Wi-Fi Access Point, Wi-Fi Station, and Wi-Fi Direct features.
• Hands-on experience with Android AOSP/Linux-based infotainment and build environments.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Wi-Fi security standards: WPA2, WPA3.
• Strong understanding of Linux and Android network stack.
• Proficiency in capturing Wi-Fi sniffer logs and analyzing PCAP files.
• Experience in Wi-Fi Alliance certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
