Responsibilities

  • Interact with clients before, during, and after installation. Be comfortable explaining products, responding to concerns, and helping clients love their new shades
  • Assist with installation and adjustment of window covering products, including blinds, shades, shutters, and motorized systems
  • Communicate with team members via phone, text, and email with clarity and professionalism
  • Read and interpret job orders & product specifications; verify parts, fabrics, and hardware upon receipt; report any discrepancies ahead of installation and ensure products installed to specifications
  • Use tools safely; work at heights/ladders; protect customer property; maintain clean job sites
  • Document the install: hours worked, photos, site issues; coordinate with support staff for parts or fixes
  • Collect balance payments from clients, and secure referrals and positive reviews

What You Bring

  • Excellent communication skills with sales aptitude and/or customer service experience; natural ability to build rapport and trust with clients in their homes and help them make confident decisions
  • Problem solving mentality: able to adapt when site details differ from plans with a cool head and friendly confidence
  • A track record of being a motivated, punctual self-starter with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a solid work ethic
  • Previous experience in window treatments, interior design, home improvement sales, or related fields is beneficial, but we're also eager to hear from candidates with experience requiring strong client relationship skills
  • Basic familiarity with measuring, hand tools, and an eye for design and aesthetics
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record; access to a reliable vehicle to travel to job sites within service area
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs while ascending a ladder, climbing, balancing, and bending; not afraid of heights
  • Availability starting in November-January, weekdays between 9-5:30. Some flexibility required for weekends or overtime as necessary
