Job Summary
The Window Tint Installer will be responsible for preparing vehicle glass, cutting and installing window tint films, ensuring clean application, and delivering a high-quality finish without bubbles, dust, scratches, peeling, or poor edges. The candidate must be able to work carefully on customer vehicles, follow instructions, manage tools and materials properly, and complete work on time while maintaining DiabloFoil’s premium standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesVehicle & Glass Preparation
- Clean and prepare vehicle windows before tint installation.
- Remove dust, dirt, oil, stickers, glue residue, and other contaminants from glass surfaces.
- Inspect windows for scratches, cracks, existing film, damaged seals, or other issues before starting work.
- Protect vehicle interiors, door panels, dashboards, electronics, and trims during installation.
- Handle all customer vehicles with maximum care and professionalism.
Window Tint Installation
- Install window tint film on side windows, rear windscreen, quarter glass, sunroofs, and other glass areas.
- Measure, cut, shrink, shape, and apply tint film accurately according to vehicle glass size and shape.
- Use proper heat shrinking, squeegee, trimming, and finishing techniques.
- Ensure smooth, clean, and bubble-free installation.
- Ensure correct alignment, clean edges, and professional finishing.
- Work with different tint shades and film types as per customer requirement and company guidelines.
- Remove old tint film safely when required without damaging glass, defroster lines, trims, or interiors.
Quality Control
- Inspect completed tint installation before delivery.
- Check for bubbles, dust particles, scratches, peeling, water pockets, uneven edges, gaps, or visible defects.
- Make corrections or alterations where necessary.
- Ensure the tint shade and film type match the job card or customer requirement.
- Support the final quality inspection before customer handover.
- Maintain DiabloFoil’s premium finishing standard on every vehicle.
Tools, Equipment & Material Handling
- Maintain tint tools, blades, squeegees, heat guns, spray bottles, cutting tools, cleaning tools, and related equipment properly.
- Keep all tools clean, sharp, safe, and ready for use.
- Manage tint film rolls, scraps, chemicals, and installation materials responsibly.
- Avoid unnecessary wastage of tint film and other materials.
- Report low stock, damaged film, or tool issues to the supervisor or manager.
- Keep the tinting area clean, dust-free, organized, and safe.
Teamwork & Communication
- Work closely with the operations manager, floor supervisor, sales team, and other technicians.
- Follow job cards, work instructions, customer requirements, and company procedures properly.
- Communicate immediately if there is any issue with the vehicle, glass, film, design, shade, or installation process.
- Support other departments such as PPF, wrapping, detailing, or ceramic coating when required.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at work every day.
Safety & Vehicle Care
- Follow safety procedures while using blades, heat guns, chemicals, electrical tools, and ladders.
- Be responsible for personal safety as well as the safety of team members and customer vehicles.
- Avoid damage to vehicle interiors, glass, trims, rubbers, defroster lines, sensors, and electronics.
- Ensure all vehicles are locked, protected, and handled responsibly during work.
- Follow company rules, work timings, reporting procedures, and workshop discipline.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as an automotive window tint installer is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of tint film cutting, shrinking, shaping, installation, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to install tint on different types of vehicles, including luxury and high-value cars.
- Knowledge of safe old tint removal methods is an advantage.
- Ability to work with different tint film brands, shades, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and finishing quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment.
- Strong sense of organization, cleanliness, and responsibility.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to read and understand job cards, written instructions, and customer requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
- Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn new techniques and processes.

Additional Duties
- Assist with vehicle preparation, cleaning, detailing, ceramic coating, PPF, wrapping, or delivery preparation when required.
- Help maintain workshop cleanliness and organization.
- Support vehicle movement and final presentation when needed.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the management or supervisor.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
