Windows System Admin

Job Purpose

This role is primarily responsible for system infrastructure, architecting, configuring and deployment planning for entire HBZ Group.

Task and Responsibilities:

• Thorough knowledge of Active Directory Design and implementation with user / OU / GPO management (good to have power shell experience).
• Managing Citrix / VDI environment.
• Managing server virtualization technologies (VMWare server / ESXI).
• Thorough knowledge of the Linux command line and shell scripting, user and group management, essential system services (DHCP, DNS, NTP, SNMP), software installation / package management.
• Asterisk Server Management and Configuration.
• Antivirus Server Administration and Configuration (Kaspersky or any other).
• Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environment.
• Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation.
• Microsoft Exchange Administration and Configuration.

• Maintain low- and high-level systems diagrams.
• Maintain low and securely multiple copies of system configuration backup at all times.
• Review and update main disaster recovery procedures for system and services.
• Set system and services performance monitoring threshold.
• Plan and recommend capacity management requirements.
• Maintain system asset management.
• Design and support system infrastructure.
• Perform root cause analysis of system and services related incidents.
• Receive, prioritize and respond to incoming work orders, calls, tickets for systems.
• Implement required controls to mitigate identified and/or reported risks.

Experience and Education

• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Technology.
• Certifications: MCSE, Citrix, VMWare, RedHat Linux, Exchange etc.
• 12+ years of experience in managing large system environment.
• Hands on experience in configuring, securing, tuning and managing multiple system environments.
