Windows System Administrator Trainee

About the Role
We're looking for a motivated Windows System Administrator Intern to join our IT operations team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to build real-world experience managing Windows environments, supporting end users, and learning the fundamentals of enterprise IT infrastructure. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, tackle real technical challenges, and walk away with practical skills that strengthen your resume and prepare you for your next career step.
What You'll Do
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Server and desktop environments
  • Support Active Directory management, including user accounts, group policies, and permissions
  • Help monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and document resolutions
  • Participate in patch management, software deployment, and system updates
  • Provide first- and second-level technical support to internal users
  • Assist with backup procedures, network configuration, and security best practices
  • Contribute to IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures

What We're Looking For
  • Graduate or undergraduate in Computer Science or a related field
  • Fluency in German is required (B1 level minimum)
  • A fast learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Genuine interest in systems administration, IT operations, and technical support
  • Familiarity with Windows OS environments is a plus
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative, can-do attitude
