Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with wine selections, offering expert advice on pairings and tasting notes
• Take accurate orders using POS system, ensuring efficient processing of transactions
• Serve wine and food promptly, maintaining proper presentation and sanitation standards
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures

Qualifications

• Previous experience in fine dining a huge plus, with a strong background in wine service
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Knowledge of wine varieties, food pairing principles, and upselling techniques to elevate guest experiences
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that fosters guest loyalty
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during high-volume periods
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
• Experience in food safety practices, sanitation standards, and general food industry regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends in a fast-paced environment
