Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join our growing team. This role focuses on integrating women’s physical and reproductive health with mental wellness, supporting patients through key life transitions such as adolescence, pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause.

The ideal candidate is passionate about whole-person care, comfortable collaborating with mental health professionals, and committed to improving outcomes for women through evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive women’s health care, including:
• Annual exams and preventive screenings
• Contraceptive counseling and management
• Menstrual and hormonal disorder management
• Perimenopause and menopause care
• Support patients with reproductive mental health needs, including:
• PMS/PMDD
• Perinatal and postpartum mental health
• Hormone-related mood disorders
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and other care team members
• Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate (including HRT where applicable)
• Educate patients on lifestyle, hormonal, and wellness interventions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
• Participate in program development for women’s wellness initiatives

Qualifications

• Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC)
• Active Texas NP license and prescriptive authority
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in women’s health (preferred)
• Experience or strong interest in mental health integration
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to culturally competent and trauma-informed care

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with perinatal mental health or reproductive psychiatry settings
• Familiarity with hormone replacement therapy (HRT)
• Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) is a plus
