Description:
The Woodwork Engineer is responsible for the engineering, coordination, and execution of woodwork and joinery works for construction and interior fit-out projects. The role requires strong technical expertise in
wood engineering
and
proven experience in GCC countries
, ensuring high-quality delivery in compliance with project specifications, drawings, and local standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and coordinate shop drawings and detailed woodwork/joinery drawings.

Supervise and monitor woodwork fabrication and installation activities on-site.

Ensure all wood engineering works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Coordinate with project managers, designers, consultants, and subcontractors.

Prepare material submittals, method statements, and technical documents related to woodwork.

Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues related to joinery and wood finishes.

Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality requirements, and HSE standards.

Coordinate factory production schedules and site installation programs.

Assist in quantity take-offs, material estimation, and cost control for woodwork works.

Participate in inspections, snag clearance, and final handover.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Wood Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in woodwork/joinery, with mandatory GCC experience.

Strong background in
wood engineering
, joinery works, and interior fit-out projects.

Experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use projects within the GCC.
