We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly interfaces and engaging user flows.
- Implement custom themes and plugins to enhance website functionality.
- Optimize websites for SEO and ensure compliance with best practices in web design.
- Utilize version control systems such as Git for code management.
- Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure quality assurance.
- Work with various databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB for data management.
- Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Create wireframes and prototypes for new features or enhancements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve web development practices.
Experience
- Proficiency in WordPress development, including theme customization and plugin development.
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SCSS, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with back-end technologies including PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails, or .NET frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
- Understanding of database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, SQLite, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira or Trello for task tracking.
- Understanding of system architecture principles and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
