Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in web development, with expertise in WordPress and a variety of programming languages and frameworks. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining websites while ensuring a seamless user experience. The successful applicant will collaborate with designers and other developers to create innovative solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly interfaces and engaging user flows.
• Implement custom themes and plugins to enhance website functionality.
• Optimize websites for SEO and ensure compliance with best practices in web design.
• Utilize version control systems such as Git for code management.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure quality assurance.
• Work with various databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB for data management.
• Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Create wireframes and prototypes for new features or enhancements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve web development practices.

Experience

• Proficiency in WordPress development, including theme customization and plugin development.
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SCSS, and jQuery.
• Familiarity with back-end technologies including PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails, or .NET frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
• Understanding of database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, SQLite, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira or Trello for task tracking.
• Understanding of system architecture principles and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
