Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to design, implement, and manage websites using the WordPress platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both front-end and back-end development, an eye for clean and responsive design, and the ability to create scalable, high-performing WordPress websites tailored to business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites and plugins.
• Customize existing themes and plugins or build new ones from scratch based on project requirements.
• Convert PSD/Figma/UI designs into responsive WordPress themes using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and plugin conflicts.
• Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, cross-browser compatible, and secure.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to deliver high-quality web solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and security best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with custom theme and plugin development.
• Knowledge of WordPress hooks, filters, REST API, and custom post types.
• Experience with website performance optimization and SEO principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of web security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Familiarity with WooCommerce and eCommerce site development.
• Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of DevOps and deployment workflows.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $35.79 - $43.10 per hour
