About the Role:

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented WordPress Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development and be able to translate design concepts into fully functional and responsive websites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites.
• Customize existing themes and plugins or develop new ones as needed.
• Implement website functionality using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Optimize website performance (speed, SEO, and scalability).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress sites.
• Integrate third-party APIs and tools (payment gateways, CRM, etc.).
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams.
• Keep up to date with WordPress trends, best practices, and updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–3 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Divi).
• Experience in custom theme and plugin development.
• Knowledge of MySQL database management.
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Understanding of SEO principles and website optimization.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and Headless WordPress (optional).

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience with WooCommerce or other eCommerce platforms.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js).
• Basic knowledge of Linux hosting and cPanel.
• Experience working with Figma/Adobe XD for converting designs to WordPress.
• Understanding of security best practices in WordPress.
