WordPress Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in modern WordPress development, bring solid experience working within cloud-based environments, and be adept at solving complex technical challenges. This role requires advanced technical expertise, strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress applications, plugins, and themes following modern development standards.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality, scalability, and adherence to best practices.
• Manage and support application deployments using Docker and CI/CD pipelines in coordination with the DevOps team.
• Perform advanced debugging and troubleshooting across WordPress codebases and Azure cloud resources (e.g., App Service, VMs, API Management).
• Integrate and work with REST APIs, Composer, and contemporary PHP development workflows.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to other developers within the WordPress team.
• Ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability across all WordPress applications.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress, including custom themes, plugins, and application development.
• Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and REST API integration.
• Experience using Docker and working in environments supported by CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Composer and modern PHP development practices.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services and related troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to debug complex issues across both application code and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
• Deep understanding of performance optimization, security best practices, and scalability for WordPress environments.
• Fluency in English preferred; Arabic is a strong advantage.
