WordPress Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites and applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience with WordPress core, themes, and plugins, and is comfortable working with both front-end and back-end development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements
• Develop custom plugins and themes from scratch when needed
• Ensure website performance, security, and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs
• Integrate third-party APIs and tools
• Optimize websites for SEO and mobile responsiveness
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers
• Maintain website backups and updates

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer
• Strong knowledge of WordPress core, hooks, and architecture
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience with MySQL and database optimization
• Familiarity with REST APIs and AJAX
• Understanding of SEO best practices
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Ability to write clean, secure, and maintainable code

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery, etc.)
• Knowledge of WooCommerce development
• Familiarity with hosting environments and cPanel
• Experience with performance optimization and caching tools
• Understanding of UI/UX best practices

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent experience
• X+ years of experience in WordPress development

Nice to Have (Optional)

• Experience with headless WordPress
• Knowledge of React or modern JavaScript frameworks
• Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG) standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs25,000.00 - Rs40,000.00 per month
