WordPress Developer

We are looking for a motivated Junior WordPress Developer with 6–12 months of hands-on experience who is eager to grow and build scalable websites using WordPress. This role is ideal for someone who understands WordPress fundamentals and wants to deepen their backend and technical skills under guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining WordPress websites, themes, and basic custom functionalities
• Work with existing plugins and perform minor customizations as required
• Support database-related tasks and ensure proper data handling
• Help configure domains, hosting environments, and cPanel settings
• Assist with third-party integrations such as APIs, contact forms, and payment gateways
• Troubleshoot basic backend, plugin, or performance-related issues
• Follow best practices for website security, backups, and updates
• Collaborate with senior developers, frontend teams, and designers to implement features

Requirements:

• 6–12 months of practical experience working with WordPress
• Basic knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and WordPress core concepts
• Experience customizing themes and working with popular plugins
• Familiarity with hosting panels (cPanel), domain/DNS basics, and shared hosting
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, AJAX, or third-party integrations
• Awareness of website performance, security fundamentals, and SEO basics
• Willingness to learn Git/version control and follow development best practices

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to plugin development or custom post types
• Experience with website migrations or staging environments
• Basic knowledge of SSL setup and site deployment
