WordPress Developer

We are looking for a WordPress Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. You will work closely with designers and senior developers to convert designs into responsive layouts, implement custom features, and ensure websites perform efficiently.

This is a hands-on development role where you will work primarily on WordPress development, including theme customization, plugin configuration, and front-end implementation. Basic familiarity with other CMS platforms will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize WordPress themes and templates.
• Convert Figma/XD designs into responsive WordPress pages.
• Build layouts using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP WordPress context.
• Install, configure, and customize WordPress plugins.
• Work with custom post types, taxonomies, and custom fields ACF.
• Build and manage pages using Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar page builders.
• Ensure websites are responsive and cross-browser compatible.
• Troubleshoot bugs, plugin conflicts, and layout issues.
• Perform routine updates, backups, and basic maintenance.
• Assist with content updates and site improvements.
• Work with hosting environments cPanel, FTP when required.
• Support staging-to-production deployments when needed.
• Occasionally assist with basic updates or content management on other CMS platforms if required.

Requirements

• 1 – 2 years of WordPress development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of PHP within the WordPress ecosystem.
• Experience with Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar page builders.
• Familiarity with ACF or similar custom field tools.
• Basic understanding of MySQL and WordPress database structure.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug WordPress issues.
• Basic familiarity with other CMS platforms such as Webflow, Shopify, or similar systems is a plus
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with WooCommerce
• Basic knowledge of Git or version control workflows.
• Understanding of website performance optimization.
• Experience working in a digital agency environment

Location: DHA 2, Sector H, Main G.T Road Rawalpindi

Timings: 9AM- 6PM [Onsite]

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
