Position Title: WordPress Developer
Location: I-10/3, Islamabad

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize custom WordPress websites
• Design and build custom WordPress themes and plugins based on business requirements
• Convert UI/UX designs (Figma/PSD) into fully functional, responsive WordPress websites
• Extend and customize existing WordPress themes and plugins
• Ensure website performance, speed optimization, and cross-browser compatibility
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues and bugs
• Implement security best practices and maintain website stability
• Manage and optimize website content using WordPress CMS
• Apply on-page SEO best practices for better search visibility
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders
• Ensure clean, scalable, and well-documented code
• Integrate third-party APIs and tools when required
• Maintain version control using Git

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong experience in WordPress development (themes, plugins, customization)
• Proficiency in PHP and WordPress core framework
• Strong front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience in converting UI/UX designs into responsive websites
• Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development
• Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques
• Familiarity with WordPress hooks, actions, and filters
• Experience with debugging tools and troubleshooting website issues
• Understanding of basic SEO principles and implementation in WordPress
• Experience with Git version control
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills
