WordPress Developer Executive

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer with strong knowledge of JavaScript and PHP to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customising, and maintaining WordPress websites, including creating tailored themes, custom sections, and plugins that enhance functionality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customise, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.

Build custom sections, layouts, and reusable components tailored to project requirements.

Implement advanced functionality using JavaScript, PHP, HTML, and CSS.

Optimize websites for performance, security, and responsiveness.

Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth website performance.

Collaborate with designers, content managers, and other developers to bring projects to life.

Stay updated with the latest WordPress updates, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (portfolio required).

Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.

Hands-on experience creating and modifying WordPress plugins and themes.

Familiarity with WordPress hooks, filters, and custom post types (CPTs).

Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party API integrations.

Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and SEO best practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

Experience with WooCommerce customization.

Familiarity with modern JS frameworks (React, Vue, etc.) in WordPress environments.

Understanding of Git version control.

Knowledge of website performance optimization (caching, CDN, etc.).
