WordPress Developer (Freelance, On-Site Project Basis)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to work with us on a freelance project basis. The developer will be required to work on-site at our office for the duration of the project. The role involves developing, customizing, and optimizing our company website to ensure it is professional, user-friendly, and aligned with our brand requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain the company website using WordPress.
• Implement themes, plugins, and custom functionality as required.
• Optimize website performance, speed, and responsiveness across devices.
• Ensure website security, backups, and compliance with best practices.
• Collaborate with management to translate business requirements into website features.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs or issues promptly.
• Provide basic training/hand-over to the internal team after project completion.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a portfolio of completed websites.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Ability to create custom themes and plugins if needed.
• Experience with SEO best practices and website optimization tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work on-site (remote work is not applicable).
• Freelance/project-based availability.
