Wordpress Developer (Fully Remote)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate independently and within a team on WordPress development projects.
• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Convert Figma or design layouts into responsive WordPress websites.
• Build and manage WooCommerce-based ecommerce solutions.
• Maintain clean, scalable, and high-quality code standards.
• Optimize website speed, SEO structure, and overall performance.
• Ensure websites are responsive and compatible across all major browsers and devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, technical issues, and plugin conflicts.
• Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and external services when required.
• Follow WordPress security best practices and perform regular maintenance updates.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress technologies, trends, and development standards.

Candidate should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
• Strong command of: PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience with: Elementor, DIVI, WPBakery, WooCommerce, Custom theme development
• Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
• Knowledge of WordPress security standards and best practices.
• Experience with website speed optimization and SEO implementation.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with the limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds.
• Portfolio showcasing previous WordPress projects, code samples, or live links.

Plus point if:

• Experienced in other CMS platforms such as: Shopify, Webflow
• Experienced in customizing and optimizing CMS themes.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools and platforms such as: Claude, ChatGPT, Loveable, Cursor AI
• Basic knowledge of server management and hosting environments.
• Experience working with international clients and remote teams.

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
