WordPress Developer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites for performance, security, and user experience. You will work closely with designers, marketers, and project managers to build responsive, high-quality websites that support business goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and themes.
• Build custom WordPress plugins and modify existing plugins as needed.
• Convert website designs (Figma, Adobe XD, PSD) into responsive WordPress websites.
• Optimize website performance, speed, and Core Web Vitals.
• Implement SEO best practices and ensure websites are search-engine friendly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and compatibility problems.
• Perform website updates, backups, and security maintenance.
• Integrate third-party APIs, CRM systems, payment gateways, and marketing tools.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
• Collaborate with designers and marketing teams to improve website functionality and user experience.
• Follow coding standards, best practices, and documentation procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, and plugin development.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Knowledge of website optimization, caching, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Understanding of responsive design principles.
• Experience with WooCommerce development and customization.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
• Knowledge of SEO and technical SEO implementation.
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with hosting platforms such as cPanel, Cloudways, WP Engine, or SiteGround.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
