Wordpress + Shopify Developer

About the Role:
Workforce Commerce looking for a skilled Full Stack WordPress + Shopify Developer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites and Shopify stores.

key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites on WordPress and Shopify
• Customize existing themes, plugins, and apps to meet project requirements
• Build custom functionalities using PHP, Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues on both platforms
• Collaborate with designers, content teams, and marketing for project delivery
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and tools as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)
• 3+ years of proven experience in WordPress & Shopify development
• Strong proficiency in PHP, Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Hands-on experience with Shopify theme customization and app integration
• Knowledge of WordPress custom theme and plugin development
• Familiarity with e-commerce best practices, SEO, and website performance optimization
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Experience with Git or other version control systems is a plus
