WordPress & Shopify Frontend Developer

About the Role

Mau5tech is looking for a detail-obsessed Frontend Developer who converts Figma designs into fast, responsive, production-ready pages on WordPress and Shopify. This is a hands-on execution role focused on clean code, precise layouts, and fast turnaround.

This is not a React.js or component framework role. We work with native HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

What You'll Do

• Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect, fully responsive pages using custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — no page builders
• Build, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and Shopify storefronts
• Develop and manage landing pages on WordPress and Shopify optimized for speed and conversion
• Implement and debug tracking scripts, pixels, and tags (GTM, Meta Pixel, etc.)
• Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and payment flows as needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues quickly and independently
• Work with the marketing team to improve page performance and conversion rates

Requirements

• 2–4 years of hands-on front-end or web development experience
• Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and vanilla JavaScript
• Proven experience with WordPress theme development and Shopify (Liquid templating)
• Ability to translate Figma files into production-ready pages with zero design drift
• Fast turnaround — you take a design and ship it
• Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, tracking pixels, and event tracking
• Self-starter who can own tasks end-to-end and meet deadlines

Nice to Have

• Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce plugins
• Understanding of Core Web Vitals and front-end performance optimization
• Basic knowledge of CRO (conversion rate optimization)

• PKR 80,000 – 120,000/month based on experience
