Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Required Qualification:
- 5+ years of experience in electric utility operations, work management, asset management, or related areas.
- Strong knowledge of electric T&D maintenance and construction workflows.
- Experience with WM/AM systems such as SAP PM, Maximo, Oracle WAM, or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and reporting tools.
- Understanding of GIS and electric asset data models (ESRI preferred).
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills, including ability to interpret inspection and outage data.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
This role ensures that electric maintenance, construction, reliability, and system hardening work is effectively planned, scheduled, executed, and tracked to meet safety, reliability, and regulatory commitments. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with electric utility field operations, and proficiency in work management systems supporting T&D functions.
1. Electric Operations Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze work order trends related to outages, equipment failures, inspection findings, and reliability programs (e.g., pole test & treat, transformer maintenance, overhead and underground line patrols).
- Develop dashboards for metrics including:
o Work Backlog (Corrective / Preventive)
o Compliance Programs (e.g., pole inspections, line patrols)
o Asset health trends
o Crew productivity and utilization
- Provide insights to improve reliability performance metrics, and equipment reliability scores.
- Support regulatory filings, audit responses, and documentation for electric reliability standards.
2. Work Management Systems & Data Governance
- Maintain and improve data quality within electric work management and asset management systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Click/Field Service tools, ESRI based GIS).
- Ensure work orders follow requirements for T&D asset classes: poles, transformers, conductors, UG cable, switches, reclosers, substations.
3. Cross Functional Coordination
- Participate in daily/weekly operations meetings (e.g., outage review, clearance planning, scheduling alignment).
- Support emergency response, storm duty, wildfire events, and mutual assistance operations when required.
Salary Range $80000 -$120,000 years
