Work Study-Digital Media Associate

The Digital Media Associate will assist in storytelling, content creation, and newsletter support through a variety of marketing/communications strategies (blog/video).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Written and digital storytelling (shortform stories, blogs)

Coordinate with MarCom Team and branches on other projects

Create social media graphics and content as needed

Other duties based on the needs of the organization

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

Digital Media Associate must be a person who has strong writing and communications skills, video, and content creation interests, is deadline driven and has a high attention to detail and workflow processes.

A natural curiosity to learn about the Y and the amazing stories from members, volunteers, staff, and the community that need to be told.

TANGIBLE GOALS

Write or film 5-7 stories a month in total

Create promotional social media graphics for content produced

This is a hybrid job, 20 hours a week. Must be Work Study approved by your University.
