Worker Welfare Coordinator

Your Role

As a Worker Welfare Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of our workforce by:

• Acting as the main point of contact for worker welfare matters
• Monitoring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and client welfare standards
• Conducting regular welfare inspections of accommodation, transportation, and work sites
• Addressing employee grievances, concerns, and welfare-related complaints confidentially and professionally
• Coordinating with HR, HSE, site teams, and subcontractors to implement welfare initiatives
• Supporting onboarding and induction programs related to worker welfare and rights
• Preparing welfare reports, audits, and corrective action plans
• Promoting awareness of health, wellbeing, and workers' rights through training and engagement programs

What We're Looking For

• Experience: Must have at least 5 years of experience in worker welfare, HR, or employee relations (construction or labor-intensive environments preferred)
• Education: Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in any related field
• Expertise: Strong understanding of labor laws, welfare regulations, and ethical employment practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage sensitive issues with empathy and professionalism. Strong organizational and reporting skills. Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of HR systems is a plus. Multilingual ability is advantageous
