Workers Compensation Case Manager

Accuhealth Fort Worth is seeking a Case Manager with experience working within the Federal and State Workers’ Comp. system. Knowledgeable in providing patients with information and assistance regarding workers' compensation. Knowledgeable in assisting and/or helping patients when filing State and Federal Workers’ Compensation Claims.
Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, no weekends!

Case Manager – Job Responsibilities:

* Perform patient intake interviews with prospective patients.
* Assist patient with Letter to Request Change of Treating Doctor and/or assist patient with form DWC #53 with TX Workers’ Comp. if applicable.
For State WC, speak to insurance adjuster to verify that it is a “non-network” claim and to inquire about accepted injured areas and any PLN-11 filed by the insurance carrier.
* Write reports and timely submission.
* Assist MD/NP in completing work status forms or any change of work status per recommendations.
Assist MD/NP in filling-out workers comp. patients FMLA Forms and Supplemental Disability forms.
* Coordinate with MD, Physical Therapist, and Nurse Practitioners with patient case management.
* Manage patients’ cases by meeting with them and making sure they are getting all the benefits that they are entitled when having a Workers' Comp. case.

*Provide high-quality patient service.

Experience:
Case Manager: 1 year (Required)
License or certification:
Licensed Medical Adjuster (preferred but not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
