Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster (People and Internal Operations)

• The Worker's Compensation Claims Adjuster position is responsible for providing guidance and assistance when a County employee has been injured on the job.
• Position entails having considerable knowledge of the rules, regulations, statutes, and procedures pertaining to worker’s Compensation Claims.

Department Overview:

The People and Internal Operations Department (PIOD) provides a wide range of internal support services for the ongoing operation of County government which focuses on promoting operational best practices and efficient government operations. PIOD provides employee and customer-based business services including centralized human resource, facility management, design and construction management, fleet management, risk management, surplus property disposition services, capital inventory management, and large-scale printing services. Through these various business lines, PIOD is engaged in real estate development and management, Americans with Disabilities Act compliance, materials management, and parking services.
