Key Responsibilities

· Represent clients in all phases of workers’ compensation cases.

· Develop case strategies and conduct legal research.

· Handle depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials as needed.

· Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

· Provide legal analysis and clear guidance to clients.

· Collaborate with partners, clients, and staff to ensure effective case management.

· Stay up to date with changes in Florida workers’ compensation law.

· Communicate clearly and maintain strong professional relationships.

· Manage deadlines and high caseloads efficiently.

· Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards.

Required Qualifications

· Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

· Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.

· Minimum of 5 years of legal experience in workers’ compensation defense.

· Strong litigation, negotiation, and communication skills.

· Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities.

· Proficiency in LexisNexis or similar legal research tools.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

· Client-focused mindset with professionalism and integrity.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
