Workflow Automation Engineer (n8n)

We are hiring an Workflow Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automation workflows at scale using n8n. You will connect APIs, build custom nodes, and ship reliable flows that save hours of manual work for international teams.

What you will do

• Design end-to-end workflows in n8n for data sync, alerts, approvals, and back-office ops
• Build custom n8n nodes using Node.js and TypeScript
• Integrate third-party APIs using REST, GraphQL, OAuth2, API keys, and webhooks
• Implement retries, rate limits, queuing, and error handling with alerts
• Secure credentials, secrets, and environment variables
• Deploy and operate n8n in Docker with Postgres. Set up backups, logging, and monitoring
• Document flows and hand over playbooks. Train users and support go-live
• Migrate automations from Zapier or Make to n8n where needed
• Work with engineers, ops, and marketing to turn processes into stable automations

Must-have skills

• 2+ years building automations. 1+ year hands-on with n8n/Zapier/Make
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript
• Solid API integration skills. REST, webhooks, OAuth2, pagination, and web security basics
• Docker and Postgres basics. Git and CI/CD
• Debugging and observability. Logs and metrics
• Good English communication. Write clean docs and tickets

Good-to-have

• Custom n8n nodes published or a public portfolio
• Kubernetes, Helm, or cloud deploys
• Redis or message queues
• Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience with any of: Slack, Google Workspace, Airtable, Notion, HubSpot, Salesforce, Twilio, WhatsApp providers, Stripe, Shopify
• Basic Python for data tasks or scraping

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
