Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Working Metal Framer/Drywall Foreman to lead and work alongside crew members on commercial construction projects. This role requires hands-on expertise in metal stud framing, drywall installation, and jobsite coordination. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, dependable, and able to keep projects moving efficiently while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and work directly with a field crew on framing and drywall tasks
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans
• Lay out walls, ceilings, soffits, and architectural details using metal stud systems
• Perform metal framing, hanging, taping, blocking, backing, and related scopes
• Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and other trades
• Track daily progress and report labor, material needs, and potential issues
• Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company standards
• Train and mentor crew members
• Maintain a clean, organized, productive jobsite

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial metal stud framing and drywall

• 2+ years of leadership experience as a foreman or lead
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and materials
• Ability to read blueprints, layout work, and problem solve
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work on lifts/scaffolding
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Strong communication, time-management, and leadership skills
• Must be able to work hands-on alongside the crew

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience with multifamily, commercial TI, or ground-up commercial projects
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
