Job Summary

The Workshop Assistant will support workshop technicians, assist in tool handling, perform basic mechanical tasks, and maintain cleanliness and order within the workshop. This role is important for smooth workshop operations and timely mechanical repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with tools, materials, and workshop equipment.
• Help in basic mechanical tasks such as cleaning parts, arranging tools, and preparing equipment.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness, tool storage, and organization.
• Move components, spare parts, and materials as required.
• Support in assembling or dismantling simple mechanical components under supervision.
• Follow all workshop safety standards and PPE requirements.
• Report any unsafe conditions or tool defects to supervisors.

Requirements

• Basic education; technical exposure preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a mechanical workshop or industrial environment is an advantage.
• Ability to follow instructions and assist skilled technicians.
• Physically fit and willing to work in industrial conditions.
• Basic understanding of workshop tools and equipment.
