Workshop Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic / Technician specializing in luxury vehicles to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work, with expertise in engine and gearbox repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform engine and gearbox repair, overhauling, and installation
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Carry out cost-effective repairs on vehicles based on accurate diagnostics
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine vehicle inspections
• Identify and repair engine, transmission, oil leaks, coolant leaks, and under-chassis issues
• Maintain and repair braking systems, bushes, mounts, drivetrain, and suspension components
• Diagnose and repair air conditioning systems
• Use computer diagnostics for calibration, coding, and basic settings
• Maintain proper tools, equipment, and workshop standards
• Order spare parts and ensure proper storage and inventory control
• Document vehicle repairs and submit timely maintenance and service reports
• Communicate effectively with technicians, customers, management, and the sales department
• Support the sales team by repairing and preparing damaged vehicles

Requirements & Skills:

• Strong mechanical skills with the ability to perform all types of mechanical jobs
• Proven experience in engine and gearbox overhauling
• Advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with under-chassis systems (brakes, mounts, bushes, drivetrain, etc.)
• Knowledge of oil and coolant leak diagnosis and repair
• Experience in automotive air conditioning systems
• Strong electrical skills, including wiring diagrams, testing, and fault-finding
• Proficiency in using multimeters and electrical diagnostic tools
• Experience with computer diagnostics, calibration, and vehicle settings
• Expertise in repairing and maintaining luxury vehicle engines and gearboxes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant technical certification or diploma
• Experience working with luxury or high-end vehicle brands
