The Workshop Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring all joinery production activities to ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials while meeting project deadlines and quality standards.
- Prepare detailed production schedules based on project timelines and site requirements.
- Develop weekly and daily production plans for machining, assembly, polishing, and finishing sections.
- Allocate manpower and machines based on workload and priority.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Design Team for drawing release status.
- Ensure material availability before production scheduling.
- Monitor production progress and update management on delays or bottlenecks.
- Optimize workflow to improve productivity and reduce idle time.
- Track production output versus planned targets.
- Coordinate dispatch schedules with logistics and site teams.
- Maintain production planning records and reports.
- Diploma / bachelor’s degree in production engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in joinery workshop planning or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of joinery production processes (cutting, edging, veneering, polishing, assembly).
- Experience in production scheduling and resource planning.
- Proficient in MS Excel and production planning tools.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
