Workshop Service Engineer I

The Workshop Service Engineer is an in-house service representative and is responsible for fulfilling rebuilds, overhauls and preventive maintenance. The Workshop Service Engineer maintains his/her technical and product knowledge in order to provide best in class in-house service on customer owned Marel equipment and components. Main Tasks

The primary tasks of the Work Shop Engineer are:

• Preparation for receiving and dispatching of equipment and/or components
• Execute troubleshooting, overhaul, maintenance, rebuild and/or repair as required
• Identify sales opportunities and inform manager
• Validate Installed base information and escalate any updates needed
• Process hours and expenses
• Conduct technical reporting
• Escalate unresolved concerns to manager and/or technical support
• Keep stakeholders informed/updated
• Confirm reception of a work order to the planner
• Review work order tasks and descriptions
• Debrief on work done and performance of the machine
• Report on quality issues and non-conformity (NCR)
• Other duties assigned due to the need of the business
