Workshop Supervisor

Gateway Group of Companies looking for Workshop Supervisor with minimum of 7-10 years experience in UAE in the field of Heavy equipment and Transport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision & Coordination: Supervise daily workshop activities, ensuring smooth operation of repair and maintenance jobs.
• Maintenance Management: Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for heavy machinery and vehicles.
• JALTEST MULTI-BRAND DIAGNOSTIC TOOL: JalTest Soft, with integrated JalTest Info. Should know how to operate and Diagnostic the issues & Software updates for full commercial vehicles
• Quality & Safety Control: Enforce workshop safety procedures and use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Inventory & Documentation: Monitor spare parts stock, raise requisitions, and follow up with the procurement department
• Team Leadership & Training: Train and guide mechanics and technicians to improve their technical skills.
• Reporting & Communication: Prepare daily/weekly reports on workshop activities, equipment status, and downtime.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance, including 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong technical knowledge of earth-moving and construction equipment (Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, JCB, Liebherr, etc.).
• Proficiency in diagnosing hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, maintenance software).
