Workshop Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to oversee and monitor daily mechanical schedules for heavy vehicles. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient workshop operations, timely maintenance, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage daily mechanical schedules for heavy vehicles (buses, trucks, trailers, equipmants etc.)
• Supervise mechanics and workshop staff to ensure jobs are completed on time
• Plan and assign preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
• Inspect repair work to ensure quality and safety compliance
• Coordinate with operations and fleet teams to minimize vehicle downtime
• Maintain maintenance records, job cards, and reports
• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and workshop facilities
• Enforce health, safety, and company procedures within the workshop

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor or Senior Mechanic (heavy vehicles)
• Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle mechanical systems
• Ability to plan, schedule, and prioritize daily maintenance activities
• Good leadership and team management skills
• Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
