We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Wellhead and Christmas Tree Maintenance Supervisor to lead our workshop operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in wellhead and tree equipment, hands-on maintenance experience, and proven leadership capabilities. You will be responsible for managing technicians, ensuring adherence to OEM and API standards, and delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of workshop technicians handling wellhead and Christmas tree equipment.
• Review incoming equipment and assign work based on inspection results, repair scope, and technician competencies.
• Ensure all disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and assembly procedures follow OEM and API 6A standards.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with all workshop safety rules and procedures.
• Oversee pressure testing and final functional testing of refurbished equipment.
• Collaborate with QA/QC to review inspection results, approve repair plans, and validate completion.
• Maintain accurate records, including repair histories, service reports, parts usage, and QC documentation.
• Coordinate with operations and logistics teams regarding equipment dispatch, delivery timelines, and priorities.
• Identify workshop tool and equipment needs, initiating procurement or maintenance as required.
• Train and mentor technicians to improve technical capabilities and safety awareness.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring failures or non-conformities.
• Ensure the workshop remains organized, clean, and presentable for client visits or audits.
What We’re Looking For
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in wellhead and Christmas tree equipment maintenance, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of wellhead systems, gate valves, actuators, spools, and API 6A components.
• Experience working with major OEM equipment (Cameron, FMC, Aker, etc.).
• Solid understanding of workshop management practices, HSE standards, and QC processes.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, test charts, and OEM manuals with confidence.
• Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/work order systems.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with cross-functional teams and clients.
