Oversee and optimize workshop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols for all engineering activities.
Manage a team of technicians and engineers, providing technical guidance, performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules, minimizing equipment downtime and maximizing operational lifespan.
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, ensuring timely and effective repair solutions.
Manage inventory of spare parts and consumables, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
Prepare and review technical reports, including performance metrics, incident reports, and equipment status updates.
Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies within the workshop environment.
Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and production, to ensure seamless workflow and project execution.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Provide hands-on training and mentorship to junior staff, fostering skill development and knowledge transfer within the team.
