Summary
We are seeking a talented Senior Animator with a SECRET clearance to join our dynamic team at ITC, located in the WPAFB area. In this role, you will contribute to our mission by creating engaging animations that support our defense-related projects. Your creativity and technical skills will play a vital role in enhancing our visual communications.
Responsibilities
- Provide videography and video production capabilities, including the planning and capture of original video footage, video editing, and integration of motion picture, sound (music/narrative), and presentation graphics into finished compositions.
- Produce videography work products including, but not limited to, the following: Graphics Interchange Formats (GIFs), whiteboard video, motion graphics video, livestream, documentary, marketing and promotional video, interview, V-Log, and explanatory video.
- Schedule, develop, produce, edit, and render high-definition multimedia products and electronic presentations, and build accurate and detailed frame-by-frame visuals. Support may include, but is not limited to, 2D and 3D animation, on-camera, creation/editing of packaged stories, and television advertisements. Material may be presented via television, computer monitor, touch screen tablet, website, social media platforms, DVD, or other visual communication media.
- Create, design, and develop 2D models, backgrounds, sets, characters, objects animation environment, and storyboards that depict scripts and narration.
- Schedule, develop, produce, and edit the timing and pace of the movements of a character or object during the sequence of images to ensure they follow the soundtrack and audio requirements.
- Establish production deadlines.
- Execute projects from conception through completion and possess demonstrated skill and fluency to utilize a variety of industry standard software formats to create and edit electronic products and manage projects, including, but not limited to, the Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, and In-Design, Premier, After Effects, and Bridge), Blender, MODO 3D Software, and Unreal Engine.
- Provide multimedia script writing and professional narration, as needed.
- Digitally edit audio productions, if required.
- Upload relevant digital content to internal AFRL SharePoint, AF Public Website, Defense Visual Information Distribution System (https://www.dvidshub.net/), and Defense Innovation Marketplace (http://www.defenseinnovationmarketplace.mil/) web portal.
- Develop and design engaging visual effects to convey messages and ideas to an intended audience. Content will include simple to realistic animations, motion graphics, and renderings.
- Exhibit knowledge in working with readily available sources of information on the appropriate subjects including library resources and subject-matter experts, and knowledge of publication standards (e.g., Air Force Branding Book, USSF Style Guide, and AFRL Brand Book).
